A.W. Mercer takes pride in manufacturing quality parts for our customers. We are ISO 9000-1994 compliant with the target of being ISO 9001-2000 compliant in the very near future. Our quality team is led by our Quality Supervisor and 4 inspectors. This team has a combined 70 years of quality/inspection experience. A.W. Mercer takes quality seriously and proudly point to our 99.89% customer acceptance of orders that we ship. The A.W. Mercer Quality System is established to provide and organizational structure which insures compliance to customer requirements. Our policy is simple yet effective.
The A.W. Mercer Quality Statement is: “All products and services provided by our company shall conform and strive to exceed the requirements specified by our customers.”
A.W Mercer provides the resources, training and tools necessary to implement our quality policy. Our system is “fluid” and can be adapted to meet specific and changing customer requirements.
A.W. Mercer has embraced Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing and each of our employees from our office personnel to our manufacturing personnel have undergone over 36 hours of training. Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing has empowered our employees to find, implement and document changes in our manufacturing systems that improve efficiency and quality. This ongoing training is an integral part of the overall success of A.W. Mercer.
